My yoga is functional: not about how it looks, but how it feels.
My yoga is accessible and inclusive: body positive and body neutral, and embracing all humans with kindness.
My yoga is trauma informed: come as you are, I'll hold space for you.

I approach life as both a scientist and a yogi. For me, yoga isn’t just a mat practice—it’s how I live, breathe, and move through the world with curiosity, strength, and self-compassion.
As the founder of Big Sis Yoga, I specialize in functional Hatha Vinyasa yoga for all body types, creating a judgment-free space where everyone—regardless of shape, size, or experience—can explore movement, strength, and stillness with kindness and joy. After a decade of personal practice, I earned my 200h certification studying with Esther Ekhart, Tashi Dawa, and José de Groot.
My teaching is rooted in the belief that yoga is for every body. I blend mindful alignment, playful curiosity, and respect for the body’s wisdom, inviting students to trust themselves, release comparison, and celebrate what their bodies can do. With a background in biophysics and science communication, I bring a unique perspective to the mat—honoring both the poetry and practicality of being human.I'm a Yoga Alliance member

“Yoga is more than just a form of exercise. Developing mind–body awareness enables resolving imbalances at their source for long-term well-being. Yoga also nurtures self-control, mindfulness, and experiential learning in self-awareness techniques, therapeutic approaches and assessment abilities”Saima Wazed, WHO Regional Director for South-East Asia

I am a fat human being, living in a bigger body.I am also the first born of my siblings! I am the big sister, and with my siblings we often use shortened english words such as sis to call each other in a funny and endearing way.
I like to have fun with my yoga and explore with curiosity what my body can do.I hope to be a guide, like a big sister, for you in your yoga journey.
I specialize in functional Hatha Vinyasa yoga, designed for all body types. My classes provide a judgment-free environment where individuals of any shape, size, or experience level can explore movement and stillness with kindness and joy. With a background in physics and a strong interest in the science of yoga, from the anatomy of movement and the neuroscience of meditation, I incorporate curiosity, play, and self-compassion into each session. As a weightlifter, I also emphasize the importance of trusting your body and building resilience, both physically and mentally.
Join me in this space for self-discovery and connection.
